If you're like me, fitness is a little bit of a struggle for you. Yes - I like being fit, but no I don't love working out. Do I sometimes struggle with diet and workouts? Absolutely! I struggle - but I keep going, and I encourage you to do the same! I'll keep you updated on my fitness journey and share my trials as well as my triumphs, and give you the benefit of all of my experience.
When I graduated from High School, I weighed 200lbs and wore a size 18. I was not quite as aware of my size until I reached college and was surrounded by girls much smaller than me. That's when I committed to losing weight. I started dropping pounds through diet and exercise and have not stopped working on it since.
I've learned a lot about nutrition and fitness since I first started long, long ago. I have since earned my degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science, and have become a personal trainer. I can not believe how far I have come. I'm really proud of what I've accomplished, but still believe that the best of me is yet to come!
